Accessibility service

Problem

When you try to enable the accessibility services for my app from within my app nothing happens.

Explanation

This can happen on some devices like e.g. a Xiami which uses non standard manufacture specific internal settings and don’t use the android defaults for some of their settings.

Solution

• in your android device settings find the section called “Further settings”
• look for “handling help” or similar
• look for “more downloaded services” or similar
• look for Everywhere Launcher and enable the accessibility service for my app

This should solve the issue.
